July 21, 2008Warped tour update
Kris just said out loud "We sell lots of shirts," which if you haven't seen us at any of the warped dates in the past week, we're out of everything!!! We went a whole few days without Jorge :( just Kris and I on the road battling trucks and deer. Seriously, driving has been the hardest part about all of this touring. Bus calls are usually around 1:30ish and we can only stay till 8 because there's only 2 of us driving a 6 hour trip to the next stop. Next year will be da bomb. We're getting a bus and filling it up with us Stereo Bears, Ali Villella, Jac Vanek and friends, and hopefully another band. It will be sick!
We've slept at almost every rest stop on the east side of the country. I've been enjoying the passenger seat and having my feet fall asleep as they're up on the dashboard for hours. After we load in every night, Kris and I drive off and write songs about life. We wrote some about Detroit and one about a man named Dan. So sad. We got SUPER lost in Detroit (just the place to be lost). There were detours everywhere that ended when you followed them, then you were down a street you didnt belong. So far that was our worst. We had a 13 hour trip between Michigan and Boston the other day. I don't know how we did it but we're safe in Bean Town now just hanging at the new Apple store that is finally open!!!! They were the first place we went because the "X" key seemed to have popped off my computer in North Carolina and decided to stay. Kris and I took a walk by the Charles river yesterday and I got really tired so we went and laid on a dock and fell asleep. I woke up 30 min later on the edge of the dock and was so glad I didnt turn over because I would have been swimming. We went and got pastries and cookies this morning for breakfast. It was a fun adventure. Hopefully we'll get cupcakes tomorrow. Omg I hate myself so much for not updating sooner but I had limited free time after each stop between driving, sleep, and my online class. Blah.  Everyone is wearing these fug glasses and I dont know why  Every Avenue=My love  The 12 hour drive from Miami to Charlotte. Lots of fruit stands along the way  My purse every day. I walk around to my favorite merchies and bands to deliver goods.  Charlotte, NC. Our tent was in a tree. it kinda ruled  Exciting day because Settings jumped on the tour. We were their neighbors.  This day was pretty much one of our best days! We met so many amazing people too  Our limited edition warped necklaces. They are laser engraved on the headphone to say "stereo bear" on one side and "summer 2008" on the other. Love them!  Oh Kristopher. Stop stealing the "Kris" in "Kristen"  One of the many people to wear the head. At least he had the body  We the kings crowd at Charlotte. INTENSE!  Every Avenue. I had to leave half way through because I got really dizzy and sick but they were wonderful  Virginia Beach. The longest day, the day we had an awesome location, the day none of the vendors sold anything.   At least we had a good time  So it says "free" but I have at least 30 people a day ask me if they can take one. WTF  We were close to a military base...and passion brand clothing apparently. They're sweethearts!  Someone fell asleep on the job. Touring is exhausting, even for strong men!  New mascot  look at my nasty bruise  Oh and someone tried calling us "stereo puppy" ummm no?  I hope they have someone else driving the van tonight besides him  This picture couldnt scream "CUTE" anymore than it already does!  Where waz u when i needzed u most  Stereo Bear WILL increase your record sales  Dinner, you're so good!  then we got ice cream  Much deserved  Actually, Virginia was great for ice cream and peeing, which is what we did at that rest stop.  Columbia, MD. HOT HOT HOT and I felt like we were on a camping trip  doing a little inventory    Haha I dont even know what to say about this stupid thing except I'm a moron  This security guy is seriously my favorite. He comes by every day to wear the head. What a cutie  Batman and AJ  The dudes at Invisible Children took me to see Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. HOLY CRAP  Somehow Jon ended up playing guitar  And I ended up sitting by the drum kit. Awkward  Cleveland, Ohio  We had the best stages behind our tent that day!   We met up with Tiffany from hopeless_trash. She was so much fun! I hope we cross paths in Orlando soon!   I cant express to you how proud I am of this band  Sup nasty face  Our view all day  This venue was pretty awesome. It was a little tight though  Detroit! The day spent on a slant inside a baseball stadium. I got free starbucks though   A day I didnt have to sweat  More like "take me out to the concert"  This is what my feet usually look like (actually, theyre always a bit worse)  If your babys ass ever looks this dirty, call for help  9 capri suns later I turned into a monster    Helping settings take nothing to canada so they dont get taxed  We went to 3 baseball stadiums within one week. RAD  Yes that's guac. Appreciate  Oh the life of luxury ....  On average, we've been spending $100 on gas.  enjoy me driving in ny making a rap

July 10, 2008Sleepy
2 hours of sleep before our first day of tour. We were up till 4:30am packing merch then woke up at 6 to drive to Orlando. We forgot our tent top (kind of an important piece of life on the road).
I drank 5 cans of tour water today because it was 102 outside.  Travis from We the Kings came by to play in our bear head   Our friends in Broadway taking pictures with fans  oOOoooo sexy tshirt Travis!!  Anyway, Warped St.Petersburg is tomorrow. I'm hoping to see a lot of my friends there. I'll try to upload a video we have of our friend Rachel burping and me making the BIGGEST bruise on my knee from the van door. p.s. Ericalovesit/erica, I promise I'll send you an email tomorrow or the next day :) Love you much!!

So we're preparing tons for Warped. Buying mannequins, tanktops, and saving money for gas. I don't fear that we'll probably run out of money by the 3rd date but screw it. We love what we do and money aside, we're happy doing this with our lives.

June 6, 2008Summer and ice cream So glad summer is here. I have to admit, Florida heat is UNBEARABLE!! You can stand outside for 5 minutes and be in a pool of your own sweat. ewww  Kris and I have been relaxing at the beach a bit and exercising tons. We eat tacos and burritos every day so somehow we have to compromise somehow.  My little animal and I have been bff-ing it up every day. We swim and bike together. So cute! I love that thing! I'll have more updates later after this meeting is over. We are settling our Warped dates and the new items! Tons of cool stuff coming up! LOVE YOU BUZZNET PALS!

May 2, 2008Hey New Jersey
We're all here in one piece. It took us a whole day of traveling by plane for the boys and the china town bus, subway, and nj transit for me.
Let me just say I'm SO exhausted! We have to be at Bamboozle tomorrow at 7:30am. Early wake ups are not good when you havent slept in days. Oh well, it will be worth it since we're going to have a kick ass day!! Just so you know, we went to eat at Panera for dinner and drove past it 3 times because we can't figure out this whole left hand U turn thing. Omg Jersey, why do you have to be so difficult. We're just hanging out watching 40 year old virgin.  See you guys tomorrow!! I promise I'll have a huge smile on my face!

April 26, 2008Counting the days
I think one of the best things about having a company while I'm in school is the fact that it keeps me busy and on top of things. Bamboozle is next weekend and the Monday after it I start my final exams. I make sacrifices for my love of music and clothes.
I'm always 10 steps ahead of my life since I never know when something important will come up and I'll have to be there. We've recovered from Bam. Left and we're ready to attempt Bamboozle again. Our booth is in section V5 right next to Fueled by Ramen and the Asbury Park stage so PLEASE come by and say you're Buzznet bffs with us. It will make our day! I love these events because as it is, the amount of bands that you can see in one day is just incredible. The kids we meet there have such a love for music too and they really respect the bands. On top of all of this, we get to hang out with friends in bands and companies we only see every once and a while. It's so great that all of us can gather in this setting too. We're very lucky. Evan is one of our favorite gangster. He's been designing for us since the beginning and has designed every single band shirt you own (I'm swear I'm not lying).check out his designs I just cant wait to see him again!!  Anyway, I've gotta get back to writing 4 pieces of music for my final project. Business and music combined, what a life :)

April 13, 2008Chips and Salsa
So we've been back home for a few days now and all we want to do is go back to California to eat some pinkberry.
 We ate too much of it out there. Anyway, we had a blast at Bamboozle Left! So many cool people out there. We ate mexican food every day. Love you California. We want to personally thank our bff's at Fueled by Ramen for building a wall of boxes and providing us comfy hoodies when we were cold.  So now we're focusing on the next Bamboozle now and it's going to be huge! As for me, I'm back to working hard in school and my new job at the huge Apple store in Boston :) more guac please

April 4, 2008California and Bamboozle Left
So far we've been up since 3:00am this morning. AH!
CALIFORNIA IS AMAZING! Tons of pictures to come! We picked up our We the Kings skate decks today and they're pretty bad ass if I must say so myself. After that we spent the evening climbing rocks in Laguna. Pinkberry=love! OH! April 1, 2008Never gonna give you up!
So I've been listening to Panic's new cd on repeat for the past week trying to collect thoughts on it. Basically, it's probably going on one of my favorite albums this year. I hear a lot of the "influenced by the Beatles" in them and their style. The more I listened to it with an open mind, not focussing on the fact that it is Panic at the Disco, but the music itself, it's really impressive and moves closer to The Beach Boys Pet Sounds.
We had a huge discussion about years ago when Panic started out they didn't have a sound but had a producer to formulate what they felt, creating A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. Since then they've grown and matured as a band and their writing style has obviously changed. As much as we LOVE their first album, there is no way ever that they would be able to top it in that style of music. It was too good the first time around. The first few listens of Pretty.Odd felt like The Beatles. After that I felt like Brian Wilson found another album he wrote back in the day. A lot of the melodies are carefully constructed with a lot of emphasis on different rhythmic structure and instrumental harmonies.  Anyway, our boys There For Tomorrow signed to Hopeless Records! SO PROUD OF THEM! Search the City just released their new album "A Fire so big the Heavens can see it" on Tooth and Nail. Yet, another album on top of my list of the best this year. We've been in love with them from the start! Pick up the album, a wonderful company is thank yous ;)  We're off to Bamboozle left in 2 days! Since I'm in Boston and the everyone else is in Florida, decisions are made long distance over videochat.
We made a really scary tough decision the other night and it was done like this  Most companies talk thinks out but a simple "thumbs up or down" was the route we took. New website, myspace, A-List, and more aaaaaalllllllllll this week! Insane! >  Obviously Roo's jumping for joy! Big announcements in the next week too. If I can survive midterms I promise I'll let you know :) xoxo

It's been snowing in Boston and storming in Florida. Apparently none of us can win :(
